A bold, creamy tuna salad with a spicy kick — fresh jalapeño, cayenne, and sweet spicy pickles come together in minutes. Perfect on toasted bread, as a dip, or straight from the bowl.
Ingredients
Ingredients:
- 1 7-10 oz canned tuna
- 1 jalapeno (diced)
- 1 tbsp dried onion
- 1 tbsp dried garlic
- 1/2 - 1 tsp cayenne pepper (to taste)
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/3-1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup sweet spicy pickles (chopped, or jalapeno pickles)
- 3-4 tbsp sweet spicy pickle juice (or jalapeno juice)
- 2 tsp cilantro (chopped, optional)

Directions
- Finely chop the jalapeño and cilantro. If desired, rinse the canned tuna to remove excess water, then drain completely.
- Add all ingredients into a medium-sized bowl: tuna, diced jalapeño, dried onion, dried garlic, cayenne pepper, salt, black pepper, mayonnaise, chopped sweet spicy pickles, sweet spicy pickle juice, and optional cilantro.
- Mix well until fully combined. Add more mayonnaise if needed to reach your desired consistency.
- Garnish with a little extra chopped cilantro and enjoy on toasted bread, as a dip with crackers or tortilla chips, or on its own!
