An indulgent and luxurious open-faced sandwich featuring warm, lemony crab salad on perfectly golden, buttered brioche toast. Simple ingredients combine for an elegant and delicious treat.

Directions

  1. Cut 2 thick slices of brioche bread.
  2. Liberally butter both sides of each slice.
  3. Gently place the bread in a pan over medium heat and toast until both sides are golden brown.
  4. While the bread toasts, place the crab in a small pot over low heat. Add the juice of 1 lemon, some fresh dill, 1 minced garlic clove, and 2 tbsp of butter.
  5. Gently warm the mixture, stirring until the butter is fully melted and everything is combined and heated through.
  6. Place the warm crab mixture on top of the toasted brioche slices. Season with salt, pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes to taste. Add a little more lemon juice, then top with caviar and fresh chives. Enjoy immediately.
