Directions

  1. Make the spicy miso mayo by adding all sauce ingredients (mayo, rice wine vinegar, white miso, sesame oil, ponzu, and chili crunch oil) to a bowl, mixing well and adjusting seasoning to taste.
  2. Place sardines on parchment paper and mash completely with a fork. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Air fry at 400°F for 8 to 10 minutes until crispy.
  4. Build your bowl with white rice, edamame, avocado, cucumber, watermelon radish or carrots, and crispy sardines.
  5. Drizzle with spicy miso mayo.
  6. Serve with seaweed snacks, extra spicy miso mayo on the side, and ponzu mixed with chili crunch for dipping. Enjoy!
