These Smoked BBQ Tofu Skewers are smoky, savory, and packed with backyard barbecue flavor. Tofu is marinated until flavorful, slowly smoked for rich color and texture, then finished over hot coals and basted with a sweet-and-spicy barbecue glaze. Even dedicated meat lovers may be surprised by how satisfying these skewers are.

Ingredients:
- 1 14-16 oz extra-firm tofu
- 1 cup marinade
- 8-10 skewers
- 1/4 cup barbecue sauce
- 2 tbsp hot sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp chives (chopped)

Directions
- Press the TOFU to remove excess moisture.
- Prepare your favorite MARINADE and place it in a bowl.
- Cut the tofu into ½-INCH CUBES.
- Add the tofu to the marinade and toss until evenly coated.
- Marinate for at least 30 MINUTES.
- Thread the tofu cubes onto SKEWERS.
- Preheat your smoker to 275°F.
- Smoke the skewers for 1 TO 1½ HOURS, or until the tofu develops good color and smoke flavor.
- Transfer the skewers to a hot grill to char the outside.
- Combine the HOT SAUCE, HONEY, and BARBECUE SAUSE.
- Baste the tofu with the sauce mixture while grilling.
- Remove from the grill and garnish with CHIVES.
- Serve immediately.
