Directions

  1. Thinly slice the flank steak.
  2. Add 1/2 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp baking soda to the beef and mix thoroughly. Rinse the beef well and drain.
  3. To the rinsed beef, add 1/3 tsp sugar, 1/3 tsp ground pepper, 1 tsp oyster sauce, 1 tsp dark soy sauce, and 1 tsp cornstarch. Mix until well combined, then mix in 1 tsp oil.
  4. Heat a wok or large pan over high heat. Stir-fry the beef until it just changes color, then remove it from the pan and set aside.
  5. In the same pan, add the sliced onion, green pepper, and red pepper (30g each). Stir-fry until they begin to soften.
  6. Once the peppers are softened, return the cooked beef to the pan.
  7. Add 1 tsp light soy sauce and stir everything together well until heated through.
  8. Dish up and enjoy immediately!
