The thickest, creamiest high-protein chocolate mousse you’ll ever make! Blended with cottage cheese, chocolate protein powder, and peanut butter, this healthy dessert is topped with a fun Easter-themed “dirt and carrot” finish—crushed chocolate cookies and orange-dipped strawberries. Gluten-free and refined sugar-free!

Directions

  1. In a blender, combine cottage cheese, cocoa powder, chocolate protein powder, creamy peanut butter (or almond/hazelnut butter), and Medjool date syrup (or maple syrup). Blend until smooth, scraping the sides as needed.
  2. Pour the mousse mixture evenly into 4 individual cups or jars.
  3. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour for optimal taste and texture.
  4. Make the Easter toppings: Crush double chocolate crunchy cookies of your choice.
  5. Melt white chocolate and add a pinch of natural orange colorant. Dip strawberries into the melted chocolate and set on parchment paper to harden.
  6. Assemble the mousse cups by topping each with cookie crumbles (as the “dirt”) and an orange-dipped strawberry (as the “carrot”).
  7. Enjoy immediately or store covered in the fridge for up to 4-5 days without toppings.
