The most flavorful homemade chili you’ll ever make! Loaded with ground beef, beans, and a rich tomato base with the perfect blend of Cajun and chili spices. Simmered low and slow for deep, bold flavor. Perfect for game day, cozy nights, or meal prep!

Directions

  1. Heat olive oil or butter in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add diced onion and diced bell pepper. Cook for a few seconds until slightly softened.
  3. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  4. Add ground beef or turkey. Cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon. Drain any excess grease or water.
  5. Add the seasonings: Cajun seasoning, chili powder, paprika, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Stir to coat the meat and vegetables. Add tomato paste and cook for 1-2 minutes to deepen the flavor.
  6. Pour in tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, and beef broth. Stir to combine.
  7. Add kidney beans and black beans (both drained). Stir everything together.
  8. Cover the pot and let the chili simmer on low heat for about 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
  9. Serve hot with your favorite toppings: shredded cheese, sour cream, green onions, or tortilla chips. Enjoy!
