The most flavorful homemade chili you’ll ever make! Loaded with ground beef, beans, and a rich tomato base with the perfect blend of Cajun and chili spices. Simmered low and slow for deep, bold flavor. Perfect for game day, cozy nights, or meal prep!
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 lb ground beef (or turkey)
- 1 tbsp olive oil (or butter)
- 1 onion (diced)
- 1 bell pepper (diced)
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- salt (to taste)
- pepper (to taste)
- 1 15 oz can tomato sauce
- 1 14 oz can diced tomatoes
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 can kidney beans (drained)
- 1 can black beans (drained)

Directions
- Heat olive oil or butter in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add diced onion and diced bell pepper. Cook for a few seconds until slightly softened.
- Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Add ground beef or turkey. Cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon. Drain any excess grease or water.
- Add the seasonings: Cajun seasoning, chili powder, paprika, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Stir to coat the meat and vegetables. Add tomato paste and cook for 1-2 minutes to deepen the flavor.
- Pour in tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, and beef broth. Stir to combine.
- Add kidney beans and black beans (both drained). Stir everything together.
- Cover the pot and let the chili simmer on low heat for about 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
- Serve hot with your favorite toppings: shredded cheese, sour cream, green onions, or tortilla chips. Enjoy!
