A rich, decadent, and surprisingly healthy chocolate cake that’s completely guilt-free! Made with simple, wholesome ingredients, this cake is protein-packed, naturally sweetened, and has a luscious mascarpone icing. Perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth without the sugar crash.
Ingredients:
For the Cake
- 7 large eggs
- 1/2 cup cream powder (adjust for consistency)
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup cacao powder (unsweetened)
For the Icing
- 1/2 cup mascarpone cheese
- 1/2 cup cream cheese
- 2 tbsp cacao powder
- 2 tbsp honey (adjust to taste)

Directions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a cake tin (approximately 8 or 9 inches) or line it with parchment paper.
- Make the cake batter: In a large mixing bowl, combine all the cake ingredients: 7 large eggs, ½ cup cream powder (or adjust to your preferred consistency), 1 cup Greek yogurt, 2 teaspoons baking powder, and ½ cup cacao powder. Whisk or beat until the batter is completely smooth and well combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake tin and spread it evenly.
- Bake for 50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. The baking time may vary slightly depending on your oven.
- Let the cake cool in the tin for about 15 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely before icing.
- Make the icing: While the cake cools, prepare the icing. In a medium bowl, combine ½ cup mascarpone cheese, ½ cup cream cheese (softened), 2 tablespoons cacao powder, 2 tablespoons honey (adjust to taste), and a sprinkle of salt. Mix until smooth and creamy.
- Once the cake is completely cool, spread the icing generously over the top.
