Hot Honey Halloumi Schnitzel Did you know, that if you soak halloumi in boiling water, you can roll it out and make a halloumi Schnitzel?! I covered these in cornflakes and fried them, so it's really thin and really crispy and honestly, have it with a few chips and it is the BEST weekend dinner I reckon that hot honey makes literally everything taste better...but especially halloumi. You get this sweet, spicy, crispy combo that's so good, it pretty hard to beat. I've written up the recipe for the halloumi below and I would love to know if you're going to give this one a try. A x Makes 4 halloumi steaks 2 blocks of halloumi (cut carefully in half lengthways) 1 large egg beaten A large handful of flour 100g cornflakes crushed to a crumb Oil for frying 130g honey 1 heaped tsp chilli flakes 1 tsp vinegar (I used vinegar from a jalepeno jar) Place the halloumi quarters in boiling water and leave to soak for 20 minutes. Carefully lift them from the pan (one at a time, leave the rest in while you bread the halloumi) and place them on a double sheet of kitchen roll. Place more kitchen roll on top of the halloumi and gently roll it out. When it's thin and double the size leave it to cool completely before moving it. Roll it in flour until coated then tap off excess Dip it in beaten egg, then place on a plate of cornflake crumbs, making sure each side is covered. Repeat with the rest of the halloumi. Fry for a couple of minutes on each side until crisp and golden brown. Place the honey, chilli flakes and vinegar into a pan and gently heat until bubbling. Cut each halloumi Schnitzel into strips, serve with chips and salad and top with the hot honey #delicious #halloumi #halloumirecipes #familyfood #homemade #familydinner #weekendfood #foodideas #dinnerinspo #sotasty #recipes #hothoney

This is seriously one of the best appetizers I’ve ever made, and easy to throw together! 🤤 roasted tomato burrata dip with garlic bread crostinis!) 🍅🧄 Ripe bursted cherry tomatoes, stir in burrata, and scoop it all up with crispy garlic crostinis. A total flavor bomb… have the recipe ready, people WILL ask for it! 🛒You’ll Need: • cherry tomatoes • Olive oil • Salt, pepper, red pepper flakes • Garlic, parsley, oregano • Burrata • Fresh basil • Parmesan • French baguette • Butter, garlic, salt, parm (for garlic butter) 🧈 How to Make: 1. Add grape tomatoes to a baking dish and drizzle generously with olive oil (about halfway up). 2. Season with salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, garlic, parsley, and oregano. 3. Bake at 425°F for 20-30 mins until tomatoes burst (you can gently smash them halfway if they need some assistance in the ‘bursting’ process). 4. While that bakes, slice baguette, spread with garlic butter (butter, garlic, salt, parm), and toast 5–7 mins until golden. 5. Once you’re ready to serve, top with parm, fresh basil, and burrata. Stir it all together and serve HOT. Dip. Scoop. Repeat. This one is next level tasty 🤤 a top-notch heavy appetizer, perfect to bring to a party or to serve at your next gathering. alll ingredients are from @ALDI USA 🧡 #summerrecipes #tomatoes #burrata #EasyRecipes #healthyrecipes #healthylifestyle #burratafilling #roastedtomatoes #easyappetizer #cheesydip #garlicbread #tomatoburratadip #tiktokfoodie #viralrecipe #cheesepull #easyrecipes #summerappetizer #dinnerpartyideas #homemadegoodness heavyappetizers, foodtutorials, gourmetfood, partyfood, appetizers, fingerfood, recipeideas, appetizer, foodtutorial, partyfood, #gourmet #creatorsearchinsights #carlyscookbook #alditiktok #aldi
