Instant noodle jars >>>> These measurements are just estimates I just eyeball everything Ingredient 2 tbsp vegetable bouillon 1 tsp chili crunch oil 1 tbsp soy sauce 1 tsp sesame oil 2 tsp minced garlic Sliced red bell pepper Shredded cabbage mix edamame tofu (you can sub with chicken) Sliced green onions Instant vermicelli rice noodles Instructions: 1. To the bottom of the jar add vegetable bouillon, chili oil, soy sauce, sesame oil and garlic. Mix together. 2. Add red bell pepper, cabbage, edamame, green onion, tofu, noodles. A quick, healthy, and portable meal-in-a-jar! Customize these noodle jars with your favorite veggies and protein for a perfect lunch or easy dinner that’s ready in minutes with just boiling water.

Directions

  1. To the bottom of a 16-ounce (or larger) heatproof jar, add vegetable bouillon, chili crunch oil, soy sauce, sesame oil, and minced garlic. Mix these base flavorings together.
  2. Layer your fresh ingredients on top: add sliced red bell pepper, shredded cabbage mix, edamame, tofu (or your protein of choice), and sliced green onions.
  3. Finally, place the instant vermicelli rice noodles on top of the vegetables (this helps them steam properly).
  4. When ready to eat, carefully pour boiling water into the jar until all ingredients are submerged. Seal the jar and let it sit for 5 minutes, or until the noodles are cooked to your liking.
  5. Give everything a good stir to distribute the flavors from the bottom of the jar. Enjoy directly from the jar or pour into a bowl.
