It’s packed with electrolytes and tastes just like candy. 🍭🍇🍓 You’ve been loving this series, and after sharing 11 other flavors, I’m back with another weekly flavor drop. If you’ve missed any, they’re all saved in my “Homemade Gatorade” highlight. ✨ Cotton Candy Grape + Strawberry Gatorade✨ (Serves 2) Ingredients: • 2 ½ cups coconut water – natural electrolytes + potassium *(can sub filtered water here or decaf green tea) However, coconut water is the best option as it’s a natural electrolyte. • 1 ½ cup cotton candy grapes • 1 tbsp lime juice • ¼–½ tsp salt – (I use Celtic Sea Salt) • 1–2 tbsps honey or maple syrup 🍓Strawberry Purée🍓 • 1 cup sliced strawberries • 1 ½ tbsp lime juice • 1 tsp maple syrup or honey Blend strawberry purée ingredients in a wide-mouth jar with an immersion blender. Instructions: 1.In a blender, combine coconut water, cotton candy grapes, lime juice, salt, and sweetener. Blend until smooth. 2.Add 1/4-1/2 cup of strawberry purée to the bottom of two glasses filled with ice. Slowly strain the cotton candy grape mixture over the top for a pretty layered look. 3.Stir and garnish with a strawberry wedge and grapes! ✨Tag a friend who needs a hydrating, delicious drink! A naturally sweet and hydrating homemade Gatorade that tastes just like cotton candy grapes! This refreshing drink combines the natural electrolytes of coconut water with real fruit for a clean, healthy alternative to store-bought sports drinks.
Ingredients:
Main Drink
- 2 1/2 cups coconut water
- 1 1/2 cups cotton candy grapes
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 1/4-1/2 tsp salt
- 1-2 tbsp honey (or maple syrup)
Strawberry Puree
- 1 cup strawberries (sliced)
- 1 1/2 tbsp lime juice
- 1 tsp maple syrup (honey)
Ingredients are subject to availability at local stores. Unavailable items will be automatically substituted at best-effort.
Directions
- Make the Strawberry Puree: In a small blender or wide-mouth jar with an immersion blender, combine 1 cup sliced strawberries, 1½ tablespoons lime juice, and 1 teaspoon maple syrup or honey. Blend until completely smooth. Set aside.
- Make the Main Drink: In a separate blender, combine 2½ cups coconut water, 1½ cups cotton candy grapes, 1 tablespoon lime juice, ¼–½ teaspoon salt, and 1–2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup. Blend on high until smooth.
- Assemble: Fill two glasses with ice. Spoon the strawberry puree into the bottom of each glass, dividing evenly.
- Slowly pour the coconut-grape mixture over the strawberry puree to create a beautiful layered effect.
- Stir before sipping and garnish with fresh strawberries or grapes if desired. Enjoy immediately!
