The ultimate high-protein lava brownie that’s ready in just 2 minutes! Rich, fudgy, and perfectly gooey in the center, this mug brownie is packed with protein and made with simple ingredients. The perfect single-serve dessert for when those chocolate cravings hit.

Directions

  1. In a microwave-safe coffee cup or small bowl, combine egg, blended cottage cheese (or Greek yogurt), and maple syrup (or brown sugar). Stir well to combine.
  2. Add chocolate protein powder, unsweetened cocoa powder, and a pinch of salt. Stir until the brownie batter is well mixed.
  3. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
  4. Place the mug in the microwave and heat on high power for 90 seconds. The center should still be a bit gooey—just like a lava cake. If not done, microwave in 10-second increments until desired doneness.
  5. Let the brownie cool for a minute, then enjoy your healthy sweet treat!
