Spicy Fried Red Snapper

Whole red snapper gets a double coating of spicy seasoning for an incredibly crispy, golden-brown crust that locks in all the tender, flaky goodness.
Ingredients:
- 1 red snapper (cleaned and scored)
- 1 cup Spicy Fish Fry seasoning mix (more as needed)
- 3/4 cup water (more as needed)
- 1/2 cup additional Spicy Fish Fry seasoning mix (for dry coating)
- 4-6 cups oil (for frying)
Directions
- Take 1 cup of spicy fish fry and mix with ¾ cup of water to make a wet batter.
- Dunk the red snapper in the wet batter, ensuring it’s fully coated.
- Set aside ½ cup of fish fry and coat the battered red snapper in this dry mixture.
- Carefully place the coated red snapper in hot oil at 375°F (190°C) and fry for 6-8 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
