Spicy Fried Red Snapper

Whole red snapper gets a double coating of spicy seasoning for an incredibly crispy, golden-brown crust that locks in all the tender, flaky goodness.

Ingredients:

Directions

  1. Take 1 cup of spicy fish fry and mix with ¾ cup of water to make a wet batter.
  2. Dunk the red snapper in the wet batter, ensuring it’s fully coated.
  3. Set aside ½ cup of fish fry and coat the battered red snapper in this dry mixture.
  4. Carefully place the coated red snapper in hot oil at 375°F (190°C) and fry for 6-8 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
