Pan-Fried Cod with Lemon Butter Sauce

Instructions

  1. Season cod fillets with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. When hot, place cod in the pan and cook for about 3–4 minutes per side, until golden and cooked through. Transfer to a plate.
  3. Reduce heat to low. Add butter to the pan and let it melt. Stir in garlic and cook for 1 minute, then add lemon juice and optional zest.
