Buttery, tender lobster meat piled high in a toasted, golden-brown bun with a rich garlic-dill butter sauce, fresh celery crunch, and chives. A luxurious lobster roll made simple at home.
Ingredients
Ingredients:
- 3 lobster tails
- 1/2 stalk celery
- 2 center split buns
- 70 g butter
- salt (to taste)
- pepper (to taste)
For the Butter Sauce
- butter
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 tsp dill
- 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/3 tsp lemon (zest)
- chives

Directions
- Steam lobster tails for 5 minutes. Remove from shell and cut into bite-sized pieces.
- Melt butter in a frying pan over low heat. Add garlic, dill, smoked paprika, and lemon zest to the melted butter. Set aside.
- Finely chop the celery stalk.
- Cut the buns just a little bit on the sides, brush with butter, and fry from both sides until golden brown.
- Before putting the lobster into the bun, pour the lobster into the warm butter sauce and stir to coat.
- Add celery and place lobster mixture onto the toasted bun.
- Sprinkle with chives. Serve immediately.
