Hot Lemon Pepper Wings
Ingredients:
- 2 lbs chicken wings
- 2 tsp lemon pepper
- 1/2 tsp Kinderu2019s woodhouse garlic seasoning (You can also just use smoked paprika)
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 2 tsp lemon zest
- 1/2 cup hot sauce
- 2 tbsp butter
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F or air fryer.
- Pat the chicken dry and place it in a large bowl or plastic bag.
- Season the chicken with Sylvia’s Lemon Pepper Seasoning, Kinder’s Woodfired Garlic Seasoning, cayenne, and salt (if needed), making sure it’s fully coated.
- Line a sheet pan with parchment paper and arrange the wings in a single layer.
- Bake for 20 minutes, then flip the wings.
- Continue baking for another 15-25 minutes, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (use a meat thermometer to check). I always broil them for a little to make them crispy.
- While the wings bake, heat a saucepan over medium-high heat. Add butter, lemon juice, lemon zest, and hot sauce, stirring until fully combined (about 3-4 minutes).
- Remove the wings from the oven and toss them in the hot lemon butter sauce, ensuring they’re well coated.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
