These crispy fried chicken wings are tossed in a rich homemade cowboy butter packed with herbs, garlic, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, and a touch of heat. The result is a buttery, bold wing that’s perfect for game day, cookouts, or whenever you’re craving big flavor.
Ingredients:
For the Cowboy Butter
- butter
- red chili flakes
- Dijon mustard
- cayenne pepper
- parsley
- cilantro
- lemon juice
- garlic (minced)
- Adobo seasoning
For the Chicken Wings
- chicken wings
- salt
- black pepper
- paprika
- garlic powder
- onion powder
- cornstarch

Directions
- Add the BUTTER to a skillet over medium heat.
- Stir in the RED CHILI FLAKES, DIJON MUSTARD, CAYENNE PEPPER, PARSLEY, CILANTRO, LEMON JUICE, minced GARLIC, and ADOBO SEASONING.
- Cook the cowboy butter just until everything is fragrant and well combined, then remove it from the heat.
- Pat the CHICKEN WINGS dry with paper towels.
- Season the wings with SALT, BLACK PEPPER, PAPRIKA, GARLIC POWDER, and ONION POWDER.
- Sprinkle the CORNSTARCH over the wings and toss until evenly coated.
- Carefully fry the wings for about 12 minutes, or until they’re golden brown, crispy, and fully cooked.
- Transfer the hot wings directly into the warm COWBOY BUTTER.
- Toss until every wing is evenly coated with the buttery sauce and serve immediately.
