These colorful Candy Grapes combine crunchy candy shells with fruity Jolly Ranchers and Nerds candy for an eye-catching sweet treat that’s perfect for parties, birthdays, holidays, and special occasions. Cory even finishes with an optional Fruit Roll-Up version for an extra layer of fun.

•   20 red Jolly Ranchers
•   20 blue Jolly Ranchers
•   1/2 cup Nerds
•   grapes
•   skewers
•   2 cups sugar
•   1 1/2 water
•   2 cups corn syrup
•   green food coloring
•   Fruit Roll-Ups (optional)

Directions

1. Unwrap the RED JOLLY RANCHERS and BLUE JOLLY RANCHERS.
2. Add the candies to a blender or food processor and blend until finely crushed.
3. Transfer the crushed candy to a bowl and mix in the NERDS CANDY.
4. Thread several GRAPES onto each SKEWER.
5. In a saucepan, combine the SUGAR, WATER, and CORN SYRUP.
6. Add several drops of GREEN FOOD COLORING.
7. Heat the candy mixture until it reaches 300°F.
8. Dip each skewer of grapes into the hot candy coating.
9. Immediately roll the coated grapes in the crushed JOLLY RANCHER and NERDS mixture until evenly coated.
10. For Cory’s variation, wrap six grapes with FRUIT ROLL-UPS before dipping and coating.
11. Allow the candy coating to harden completely before serving.
