Chicken Marsala
Chicken Marsala is a classic Italian-American dish known for its tender chicken breasts cooked in a savory sauce of mushrooms, Marsala wine, and butter. This recipe is simple and quick to make, perfect for weeknight dinners or impressing guests with minimal effort.

boneless, skinless chicken breasts (pounded thin)rn
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- Salt & pepper, to taste
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 8 oz sliced mushrooms (cremini or white)
- 3/4 cup Marsala wine
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional

Directions
- Prepare the chicken: Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Lightly dredge each piece in flour, shaking off the excess.
- Cook chicken: Heat 2 tablespoons of oil or butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and cook 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove chicken and set aside.
- Sauté mushrooms: In the same skillet, add remaining oil/butter. Add mushrooms and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
- Make sauce: Pour Marsala wine and chicken broth into the pan. Scrape up any browned bits. Let simmer for about 5 minutes to reduce slightly.
- Finish dish: Stir in butter until melted and sauce is glossy. Return chicken to skillet and coat with sauce. Cook 2 more minutes to warm through.
- Serve: Garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired. Serve hot with your choice of sides.
