A simple and refreshing Korean side dish featuring blanched spinach seasoned with nutty sesame, perfect for complementing any main course or enjoying with a bowl of rice.

Ingredients:

Directions

  1. Bring a pot of water to a boil and blanch the spinach for 10 seconds.
  2. Immediately transfer the spinach to a bowl of iced water to stop the cooking process.
  3. Drain the spinach and firmly wring out all excess water.
  4. Transfer the spinach to a bowl and season with salt, sesame seeds, sesame oil, and perilla oil (if using). Mix well to combine.
  5. Serve as a side dish or with a bowl of rice.
