Golden and tender on the outside, buttery and juicy within — these pan-seared sea scallops are simple yet elegant. The secret? A luxurious white wine garlic butter sauce that brings restaurant-level flavor to your kitchen. It’s quick, it’s easy, and it’s wildly delicious.

👨‍🍳 Instructions

  • Pat scallops completely dry and season with salt and pepper.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until hot and shimmering.
  • Place scallops in the pan and sear undisturbed for about 2 minutes until a golden crust forms.
  • Flip and add 1 tbsp butter. Cook 1–2 more minutes, basting with butter. Remove scallops and set aside.
  • Lower heat to medium and add remaining butter and garlic. Sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  • Deglaze with white wine and simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly reduced.
  • Stir in lemon juice and chopped parsley. Spoon over scallops and serve immediately!
