“Put it in reverse, Terry!” 🚗💨 You NEED these Firecracker Little Smokies at your Fourth of July party… 🧨😮‍💨 INGREDIENTS 2 (16oz) packs of Bacon 1 pack of Little Smokies (3 pounds) 1/3 cup Brown sugar 1 1/2 tbsp BBQ Rub 1 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes Mike’s Hot Honey INSTRUCTIONS Cut bacon into 3rds. Wrap a piece of bacon around a little smokie and stick a toothpick in each one. Place them on a wire rack on a large sheet pan. Once all little smokies are wrapped in bacon sprinkle with bbq rub and 1/3 cup of brown sugar. Add as many red pepper flakes as you’d like and add a drizzle of Mike’s Hot Honey over the top. OVEN Bake at 375 degrees F for about 40-45 minutes or until the bacon gets crispy. SMOKER Place on a smoker at 375 degrees F for about 1 hour. I’d check them around 45 minutes and cook them until the bacon is cooked to your liking! #easyrecipes #recipe #appetizer

Directions

  2. Wrap one piece of bacon around each Little Smokie and secure with a toothpick.
  3. Arrange them on a wire rack placed over a large sheet pan.
  4. Sprinkle evenly with the BBQ rub and brown sugar.
  5. Add the red pepper flakes to your preferred spice level.
  6. Drizzle generously with Mike’s Hot Honey.
  7. Oven: Bake at 375°F for 40–45 minutes, or until the bacon is crisp.
  8. Smoker: Smoke at 375°F for about 1 hour, checking around 45 minutes and cooking until the bacon reaches your preferred crispness.
  9. Serve warm with extra hot honey for dipping if desired.
