Garlic Butter Shrimp with Herbs

Juicy shrimp sautéed in a rich garlic butter sauce with fresh herbs — quick, flavorful, and totally irresistible. Perfect for weeknights or impressing guests in under 20 minutes.

Directions

  1. Pat shrimp dry and season lightly with salt and black pepper.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil and butter until melted and sizzling.
  3. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds, until fragrant (but not browned).
  4. Add the shrimp in a single layer. Cook for 2–3 minutes per side, or until they are pink and opaque.
  5. Squeeze in lemon juice and sprinkle with chopped parsley or cilantro. Add red pepper flakes if using.
  6. Toss everything to coat the shrimp in the garlic butter herb sauce. Serve immediately with rice, pasta, or crusty bread.
