This Southern Style Peach Cobbler is everything you want in a homemade dessert. Sweet juicy peaches bake beneath a buttery golden crust with warm cinnamon flavor, creating an old-fashioned cobbler that’s simple to make and even better served warm with vanilla ice cream.

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Add the BUTTER to a 7×11-inch baking dish and place it in the oven just until melted.
  3. In a large bowl whisk together the SELF-RISING FLOUR, BROWN SUGAR, WHITE SUGAR, WHOLE MILK, and VANILLA until smooth.
  4. Pour the batter directly over the melted BUTTER. Do not stir.
  5. Pour one DRAINED CAN OF PEACHES and one UNDRAINED CAN OF PEACHES evenly over the batter. Do not stir.
  6. Sprinkle generously with GROUND CINNAMON.
  7. Bake for 45–50 MINUTES, or until the top is beautifully golden brown and the cobbler is fully set.
  8. Allow the cobbler to cool for 10–15 MINUTES. It will continue to thicken as it rests.
  9. Serve warm on its own or with a scoop of VANILLA ICE CREAM.
