New York Deli Shrimp Salad
Creamy, crunchy, herby, and packed with flavor — this New York Deli-style shrimp salad is a summer lunch staple you’ll want to eat straight out of the fridge. Serve it on a bagel, in lettuce cups, or with saltines for the full deli experience!
Ingredients:
- 1 lb cooked shrimp, peeled and chopped
- 0.5 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 stalk celery, finely diced
- 1 tbsp finely chopped red onion
- 2 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
- Add the chopped shrimp, celery, red onion, and dill to the bowl.
- Gently mix until the shrimp is fully coated and everything is well combined. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld together.
- Serve chilled in sandwiches, lettuce cups, or with crackers.
