Middle Eastern-Style Lamb Chops
Infused with bold spices and kissed with fresh mint and lemon, these lamb chops are juicy, aromatic, and perfect for grilling or searing.
Ingredients
- 8 lamb chops (rib or loin)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp ground cumin
- 1 tbsp ground coriander
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp lemon zest
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp fresh mint, chopped (plus more to garnish)
- Optional: chili flakes for heat

Instructions
- In a bowl, mix olive oil, cumin, coriander, paprika, cinnamon, garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and mint.
- Add the lamb chops to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Let them marinate for at least 1 hour (or overnight for deeper flavor).
- Preheat a grill or heavy skillet over medium-high heat. Remove lamb chops from marinade and shake off excess.
- Grill or sear lamb chops for 3–4 minutes per side (for medium-rare) or longer depending on desired doneness.
- Let rest for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with additional chopped mint and a squeeze of fresh lemon juice.
Tip: Serve alongside herbed couscous, tabbouleh, or a cucumber-yogurt salad for a full Middle Eastern spread.
