Mozzarella Stick
- 1 lb block of low-moisture mozzarella cheesern
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 2 eggs (beaten for egg wash)
- 2 cups panko bread crumbs
- 4-6 cups vegetable for canola oil (for frying)
- 1 tsp salt (to taste)
Spicy Marinara
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 28 oz can crushed tomatoes
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes (to taste)
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp salt (to taste)
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp salt (optional, to balance acidity)
- 2 tbsp fresh basil (chopped, for garnish)

Directions
- Cut a large block of mozzarella into your desired giant stick shape.
- Set up three stations: one with flour, one with egg wash, and one with panko breadcrumbs.
- Coat the mozzarella stick in flour, shaking off any excess.
- Dip the floured mozzarella into the egg wash, ensuring it’s fully coated.
- Roll the mozzarella in panko until completely covered, pressing gently to adhere.
- Heat oil in a deep pot or skillet to 350°F (175°C).
- Carefully fry the giant mozzarella stick for 2-3 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
- While the mozzarella stick fries, make the spicy marinara: heat olive oil in a saucepan and sauté garlic until fragrant.
- Add crushed tomatoes, red pepper flakes, dried oregano, and salt to taste. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Serve the giant mozzarella stick immediately with the spicy marinara sauce for dipping and enjoy the epic cheese pull!
