-
Ingredients:
- 0.5 cup butter
- 6 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 tbsp parsley
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1.25 tsp kosher salt, divided
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- 2 skin-on salmon fillets (about 1 pound total)
- black pepper
- garlic powder
Instructions
- Prepare the garlic butter: In a small bowl, mix melted butter, crushed garlic cloves, chopped fresh parsley, red pepper flakes, dried oregano, and ¾ teaspoon of kosher salt. Stir well.
- Season the salmon: Pat dry the salmon fillets. Sprinkle both sides with remaining kosher salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
- Brush and marinate: Generously brush the salmon with the garlic butter mixture. Let it sit for 5 minutes to soak in the flavors.
- Air fry: Place salmon skin-side down in the air fryer basket. Cook at 400°F (200°C) for 8–10 minutes or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
- Finish with lemon: Drizzle with fresh lemon juice before serving and add extra lemon wedges on the side for a bright, fresh kick.
