Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium sauté pan over medium heat, add butter. Add diced white onion and minced garlic and sweat until fully cooked and translucent, about 3 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool to room temperature.
  3. In a small bowl, combine breadcrumbs and milk. Mix together and set aside.
  4. In a large bowl, add ground beef, eggs, the breadcrumb-milk mixture, the cooled cooked onion and garlic, all-purpose seasoning, Italian seasoning, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, chili flakes, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until fully combined.
  5. Transfer the meat mixture to an 8×4 loaf pan, pressing it down evenly and firmly.
  6. Place the loaf pan on an oven tray and bake on the middle rack for 45 minutes.
  7. Make the glaze: In a small bowl, whisk together brown sugar, ketchup, onion powder, garlic powder, and white vinegar until smooth and fully combined.
  8. After the initial bake, pour the glaze over the meatloaf and spread evenly. Return to the oven and continue to bake for another 15-20 minutes.
  9. Remove from the oven and allow to cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving. Enjoy!
