Ingredients:
Compound Butter
Lamb Chops
Cajun Glaze
Directions
-
Make the Compound Butter
In a bowl, combine softened butter, olive oil, minced garlic, garlic powder, onion powder, and chopped herbs. Mix well until smooth. -
Wrap and Freeze
Transfer the compound butter to a piece of plastic wrap. Roll into a log shape, twist the ends, and freeze for at least 30 minutes. -
Prep the Lamb Chops
Clean and pat dry the lamb chops. Drizzle with olive oil and season evenly on both sides with Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper. -
Make the Cajun Glaze
In a small saucepan over low heat, melt butter. Add honey, Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, and lemon juice (if using). Stir until fully combined and remove from heat. -
Sear the Lamb Chops
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the lamb chops for 2–3 minutes on each side until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. -
Add Compound Butter
Add a few slices of the frozen compound butter to the skillet. As it melts, spoon the buttery mixture over the lamb chops to baste and coat them in flavor. -
Glaze and Finish
Pour the Cajun glaze over the lamb chops in the pan. Let everything simmer for another minute, then remove from heat. -
Serve
Plate the lamb chops with extra glaze drizzled on top. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
