The Easiest Summer Strawberry Cobbler

This easy Summer Strawberry Cobbler comes together with simple pantry ingredients and fresh strawberries for a classic dessert with a golden buttery crust. Perfect served warm on its own or with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
Ingredients:
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter (melted)
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tsp lemon (zested)
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 3/4 tsp kosher salt
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 2/3 cup whole milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 4 cups strawberries (hulled and quartered)

Directions
- Place the butter into an 8×8-inch baking dish. Place the dish in the oven and preheat to 350°F until the butter has melted.
- Meanwhile, rub the granulated sugar and lemon zest together until fragrant.
- Whisk in the flour, kosher salt, and baking powder.
- Add the whole milk and vanilla extract, whisking until smooth.
- Carefully remove the hot baking dish from the oven and pour the batter directly over the melted butter. Do not stir.
- Scatter the quartered strawberries evenly over the batter.
- Bake for 45–55 minutes, or until the cobbler is golden brown and set in the center.
- Allow to cool for about 15 minutes before serving.
