Peaches and Creme Margarita

July 17, 2026

This Peach Coconut Margarita is everything I want in a summer cocktail fresh, smooth, and just the right amount of sweet. Juicy peaches are blended into a fresh purée, then shaken with tequila, lime, and creamy coconut for a restaurant-worthy margarita that’s perfect for patio happy hours. Just make sure you invite me and Jurnee. 😂

Instructions

  1. Make the peach purée. Add the sliced peaches to a blender and blend until completely smooth. If your blender has trouble, add 1 teaspoon of water at a time until the peaches blend easily.
  2. Prepare the glasses. Fill the glasses with fresh ice.
  3. Shake the margarita. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the tequila, Cointreau, fresh lime juice, peach purée, unsweetened coconut cream, and agave syrup. Shake vigorously for 20–30 seconds until well chilled.
  4. Serve. Strain the margarita over fresh ice. Garnish with a peach slice, lime wheel, and fresh mint if desired.

Whitney’s Tip

The secret to this margarita is using ripe, juicy peaches. The riper the peaches, the sweeter and smoother your purée will be. Look for peaches that give slightly when you gently press them and have a sweet, fragrant aroma. If your peaches are ripe, you shouldn’t need to add any water blend them on their own first, and only add a teaspoon of water if your blender needs a little help.

Notes

  • Fresh peaches will give you the best flavor and color.
  • If your peaches are extra sweet, you can reduce the agave to ½ ounce.
  • Chill your glasses in the freezer for 10–15 minutes before serving to keep your margaritas colder longer.
  • For a crowd, simply double or triple the recipe and shake in batches.

This recipe is a nice balance between bright peach flavor, fresh citrus, and a subtle coconut finish without tasting overly sweet. It feels like a cocktail you’d order at a beachside restaurant, but it’s easy enough to make at home.
