Directions

  1. Season the salmon fillets with salt, pepper, and 1 teaspoon of paprika.
  2. You can either pan sear or air fry the salmon. If pan searing, heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the pan and sear for 3–4 minutes until golden and crisp.
  4. Flip and sear the other side until cooked through (internal temp should reach 145°F). Remove and set aside.
  5. If air frying, cook at 400°F for 7–9 minutes, depending on thickness. Adjust time as needed.
  6. In a clean skillet, heat butter over medium heat until melted.
  7. Add the minced garlic and cook gently until translucent—avoid browning.
  8. Stir in chili flakes, dried oregano, dried basil, salt, pepper, parsley, and a pinch of cayenne.
  9. Once aromatic, return the cooked salmon fillets to the skillet and spoon the spicy garlic butter sauce over them.
  10. Serve immediately with your choice of vegetables and a side of carbs like rice, potatoes, or quinoa.
