Pan Seared Ahi Tuna
Spicy Butter-Poached Shrimp & Toast
This viral shrimp dish is buttery, spicy, and full of garlic heat — served over crispy, golden toast to soak up every drop. It’s the perfect 10-minute indulgence you’ll crave again and again.
Ingredients:
- 2 lbs sushi grade ahi tuna steaks (about 1.5 - 2 inch thickness)
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1/3 cup sesame seeds
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp salt
Directions
- Toast slices of bread in a skillet with butter until golden and crisp. Set aside.
- In the same pan, add more butter along with minced garlic and red pepper flakes. Sauté until fragrant but not browned.
- Add shrimp to the skillet and season with salt and pepper. Cook 1–2 minutes per side until opaque and lightly pink.
- Finish with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice and a handful of chopped parsley.
- Serve shrimp over the toasted bread, spooning the buttery pan sauce on top. Enjoy immediately.
