This Homemade Strawberry Lemonade combines fresh strawberries, freshly squeezed lemon juice, and homemade simple syrup for a naturally vibrant summer drink. Every sip is sweet, tart, and bursting with fresh fruit flavor without the preservatives found in many store-bought lemonades.

Ingredients:
- 1 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1 lb fresh strawberries (hulled)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup waterr (for simply syrup)
- 4 cups waterr (cold, plus more for blending)

Directions
- Roll the LEMONS on the countertop to help release more juice, then cut them in half and squeeze until you have about 1 CUP OF FRESH LEMON JUICE.
- In a small saucepan, combine equal parts SUGAR and WATER. Bring to a gentle simmer, stirring until the sugar dissolves completely. Let the simple syrup cool.
- Add the STRAWBERRIES and a splash of WATER to a blender and blend until completely smooth.
- Pour the STRAWBERRY PURÉE, cooled SIMPLE SYRUP, and LEMON JUICE into a large pitcher.
- Add the remaining COLD WATER and stir well.
- For a smoother lemonade, strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve to remove the strawberry seeds.
- Serve over plenty of ICE and garnish with fresh strawberries and lemon slices if desired.
