Directions

  1. Combine the GROUND PORK with the breakfast sausage seasonings. Cook a small test patty first, adjust the seasoning if needed, then form the remaining mixture into 6 evenly sized patties.
  2. Cook the sausage patties over medium heat until deeply browned and fully cooked through. Set aside.
  3. Whisk together the EGGS, MILK, salt, pepper, and chopped CHIVES. Pour into a parchment-lined sheet pan and bake until just set. Cut into rounds using a glass or biscuit cutter.
  4. Mix the softened BUTTER, MAPLE SYRUP, and flaky salt to create the maple butter.
  5. Toast the ENGLISH MUFFINS. Spread maple butter on both halves.
  6. Assemble each sandwich with an egg round, a slice of SHARP WHITE CHEDDAR, and one sausage patty.
  7. Allow the sandwiches to cool completely before wrapping tightly in parchment paper.
  8. Transfer to a freezer-safe bag or airtight container and freeze for up to 2 months.
  9. Reheat using the microwave, skillet, air fryer, or oven until heated through and the cheese is melted.
