Best Ever Spicy Masala Fish Recipe

Tender fish fillets coated in a vibrant, spicy masala blend and pan-fried to perfection, served with a cool and creamy garlic dill sauce for the ultimate flavor experience.
Ingredients:
Fish
- 5 white fish fillets (tilapia or basa preferred)
- 1 tbsp chopped red chillies
- 1 tbsp chopped garlic
- 2 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp chilli flakes
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1/2 tsp chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp coriander seeds
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1/2 tsp salt (to taste)
Garlic Sauce
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp yogurt
- 1/2 tsp dill
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp sea salt (to taste)
Directions
- Place the fish fillets in a large bowl.
- Add chopped red chillies, garlic, cumin seeds, chilli, garam masala, chilli powder, cumin powder, coriander seeds, lemon juice, oil, and salt to the bowl.
- Mix thoroughly until the fish is evenly coated with the spice marinade.
- Heat a pan over medium heat and cook the marinated fish for 6-7 minutes, flipping halfway, until cooked through and golden.
- While the fish cooks, prepare the garlic sauce by whisking together mayo, yogurt, dill, garlic powder, black pepper, and sea salt in a small bowl.
- Serve the spicy masala fish hot with the cool garlic sauce on the side.
