📝 Ingredients (Serves 2)
- 12 oz sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt & freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 shallot, finely chopped
- ½ cup heavy cream
- 2 tsp green peppercorns in brine, drained and lightly crushed
- 2 tbsp whiskey (optional but recommended)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
👩🍳 Instructions
- Toss the steak bites with olive oil, salt, and freshly ground black pepper.
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Arrange steak bites in a single layer in the basket. Air fry for 8–10 minutes, shaking halfway through, until browned and cooked to your liking.
- While the steak cooks, melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped shallot and sauté until translucent, about 2 minutes.
- Stir in the green peppercorns and pour in the whiskey. Let it simmer for 1–2 minutes to reduce slightly.
- Pour in the heavy cream and cook, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens and coats the back of a spoon, about 3–5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper as needed.
- Serve the steak bites drizzled with the creamy peppercorn whiskey sauce, garnished with chopped parsley.
