The High‑Fat Carnivore Feast
Serves 1 • Time 25 minutes
Ingredients
- □ 7 large eggs
- □ 1 lb ground beef (80/20 or higher fat)
- □ 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- □ 1+ lb unsalted butter (4–5 sticks total)
- □ 1 quart raw kefir
- □ Salt to taste (optional)
Directions
- Prepare the ground beef breaded butter stick: Take 1 stick (½ cup) of unsalted butter and place it in the freezer for 10–15 minutes to firm up. Meanwhile, portion out about ¼ lb of the ground beef and flatten it into a thin patty. Wrap the firm butter stick completely with the ground beef, sealing the edges. Season the outside with salt if desired. Set aside.
- Cook the ground beef patty: Form the remaining ¾ lb ground beef into a thick patty. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the patty to your liking (about 4–5 minutes per side for medium). During the last minute, top with shredded cheddar cheese, cover, and let melt. Remove and keep warm.
- Cook the butter-breaded stick: In the same skillet, add a little more butter if needed. Cook the ground beef‑wrapped butter stick for about 2–3 minutes per side, until the beef is browned and the butter inside has softened but not completely melted. Remove and let rest.
- Scramble the eggs: In a separate skillet, melt a generous amount of unsalted butter (at least 2–3 tablespoons) over medium heat. Crack 7 eggs directly into the pan and scramble gently, stirring constantly, until soft and creamy. Remove from heat while still slightly runny—they will continue to cook from residual heat.
- Serve: Plate the fluffy scrambled eggs alongside the cheddar‑topped ground beef patty and the sliced butter‑breaded beef stick. Pour a tall glass of raw kefir. Enjoy immediately.
