Hey… how do you use your brain. You use your brain for your thoughts. What you think about becomes your focus. What you feel, is discussed as coming from your heart; but that’s not the truth. What you feel is a product of what you think, and it all comes from your brain. When you speak of your heart, your speaking of the heart in your brain, which is called your conscience.
This is a highly interesting word made of two parts. Con, which is a prefix that means “with” or “thoroughly” and science, which means “the intellectual and practical activity encompassing the systematic study of the structure and behaviour of the physical and natural world through observation and experiment”. Take a moment to go through all your experiences, from childhood, Elementary School, sibling rivalry, Puberty, High School, Prom Night, Your romantic relationships, your early twenties, and the millions of spaces in-between; add it all together and consider what your Conscience knows. You don’t really know it, but that’s what’s guiding you. The conscience is where your greatest pain is, your hopes, what you believe and the happiness that keeps you from slitting your neck. Don’t slit your neck, that’s not the answer, the answer is get in tune with your Conscience. So your eyes, brain and feelings are on the same page.
