Creamy, zesty, and absolutely scoop-worthy — this loaded hummus is your new favorite appetizer. Made with silky-smooth tahini, fresh lemon juice, and a trick of blending in an ice cube for that whipped texture, it’s perfect with pita chips, veggies, or just a spoon (no judgment).

Ingredients:
- 1 can garbanzo beans (chickpeas), drained
- 3 tbsp tahini
- 1 heaping tsp salt
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 Ice cube
- 0.25 cup olive oil
- Juice of 1 to 1.5 lemons
- 0.5 cup water, to desired consistency
Instructions
- ◊ Blend base: In a food processor, combine chickpeas, tahini, garlic, salt, and lemon juice.
- ◊ Add ice & blend: Toss in your ice cube — it helps fluff it up! Blend until mostly smooth.
- ◊ Finish with oil & water: Slowly drizzle in the olive oil while blending. Add water a little at a time until creamy.
- ◊ Taste test: Adjust with more lemon, salt, or water as needed.
- ◊ Plate and load up: Spread onto a plate and load with toppings like olives, tomatoes, herbs, or chili oil.
