Honey Mustard Glazed Spiral Ham
Honey Mustard Glazed Spiral Ham
This sweet, sticky, and savory ham is the ultimate showstopper for any holiday or gathering. Coated in a rich honey-mustard butter and roasted low and slow, it’s finished with a tropical pineapple jerk glaze that adds just the right kick. Simple to prepare and bursting with flavor in every bite.
Ingredients:
- 1 spiral ham
- 1 cup honey
- 1/2 cup butter
- 3 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 2 cups pineapple juice
- 2 tbsp grainy mustard
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp dry jerk spice

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C). Line a roasting tray with foil and place a roasting rack inside if available.
- Make the honey mustard glaze: In a saucepan, melt 1/2 cup butter over low heat. Stir in 1 cup honey and 3 tablespoons Dijon mustard until smooth and combined. Let it cool slightly.
- Prepare the ham: Place the spiral ham cut-side down in the roasting tray. Using a basting brush or spoon, thoroughly coat the entire ham with the honey mustard glaze, making sure to get inside all the spiral slices for full flavor penetration.
- Roast the ham uncovered for 2 hours, basting every 30–40 minutes with any remaining glaze and the juices from the bottom of the tray. This will build up a flavorful outer crust and keep the inside moist.
- Meanwhile, make the pineapple jerk glaze: In a small saucepan, combine 2 cups pineapple juice, 2 tablespoons grainy mustard, 1/4 cup brown sugar, 2 tablespoons honey, and 1 tablespoon dry jerk spice.
- Simmer the glaze over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until it reduces and thickens slightly (about 10–15 minutes). Set aside.
- Final glaze: During the last 20 minutes of roasting, generously spoon or brush the pineapple jerk glaze over the ham. Let the sugars caramelize and create a sticky, golden finish.
- Rest before serving: Remove ham from the oven and let it rest for 10–15 minutes. Slice and serve warm with extra glaze drizzled on top.
