Serving
Ingredients:
- 1-2 tsp organic brown sugar (sub pure maple syrup, date syrup, or raw honey)
- 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- 3 shots espresso
- 1 cup oat milk (unsweetened, can also sub milk of choice)
- ice
Ingredients are subject to availability at local stores. Unavailable items will be automatically substituted at best-effort.
Directions
- Combine the heavy cream, milk, cacao or cocoa powder, vanilla, and sweetener in a small jar or frothing cup.
- Use a handheld milk frother to blend until smooth, thick, and foamy. Keep the mixture pourable rather than whipping it into stiff cream.
- Add the ice to a serving glass, then pour in the chilled coffee, leaving room for the topping. Use a larger glass for the full amount of coffee.
- Slowly pour the chocolate cold foam over the coffee and enjoy immediately.
Start with chilled coffee: The preparation time assumes your coffee is already cold. If brewing it fresh, allow extra time for chilling before assembling the drink.
