This buttery corn rib boil transforms fresh corn into tender, flavorful strips simmered in a rich broth of butter, garlic, herbs, Old Bay, and lemon pepper. Every bite is packed with bold seasoning and makes an easy side for cookouts, seafood boils, or weeknight dinners.

Directions

  1. Remove the husks and silk from the YELLOW CORN. Carefully cut each ear lengthwise into four strips.
  2. Place the corn into a large pot and season the water with SALT. Add enough WATER to fully submerge the corn.
  3. Bring the water to a boil and cook the corn for 7 minutes.
  4. Carefully pour out about half of the cooking water, leaving the remaining liquid in the pot.
  5. Add the BUTTER, minced GARLIC, OLD BAY SEASONING, GARLIC POWDER, ONION POWDER, PARSLEY, LEMON PEPPER SEASONING, OREGANO, and a sprinkle of CAYENNE PEPPER.
  6. Stir everything together until the butter is completely melted and the seasonings are evenly distributed.
  7. Continue boiling for an additional 5 minutes so the corn absorbs the seasoned butter.
  8. Transfer the corn ribs to a serving bowl and spoon some of the buttery seasoned broth over the top before serving.
