A Simple, Elevated Caviar Board
Caviar doesn’t have to be intimidating. A great caviar board is all about balance, texture, and quality ingredients not overdoing it.
Having this Caviar board is luxurious but still approachable, whether it’s for New Year’s Eve or a cozy night at home.
Why Kaluga Queen Caviar
For this board, I used Kaluga Queen caviar, known for its smooth, buttery flavor and clean finish. It’s rich without being overly salty or fishy.
If you’re new to caviar, Kaluga Queen is the perfect place to start.
It’s easy to enjoy and pairs beautifully with classic accompaniments. Put the Doritos and Chicken nuggets down.
The Cheese: Brillat-Savarin
I paired the caviar with Brillat-Savarin, a French triple-cream cheese that’s rich, buttery, and incredibly smooth. Its mild flavor complements the caviar without overpowering it, making every bite feel indulgent but balanced. It’s literally my favorite cheese!
How to Assemble
Place the caviar at the center of the board. Add crème fraîche and shallots nearby, with butter and bread on one side and Brillat-Savarin on the other. Keep the layout simple and leave a little negative space so everything feels intentional.
How to Enjoy
Start with bread or a cracker, add butter or crème fraîche, top with caviar, and finish with a bit of shallot if you like. Less is more let the caviar shine.
Enjoy Friends, and have a happy New Year’s!
