Ingredients:

Brownie Layer
  •   1/2 cup melted butter
  •   1 cup sugar
  •   2 eggs
  •   1 tsp vanilla
  •   1/3 cup cocoa powder
  •   1/2 cup all purpose flour
  •   1/4 tsp salt
  •   1/2 cup chocolate chips
 
Cookie Layer
  •   1/2 cup soften butter (1 stick)
  •   1/2 cup brown sugar
  •   1/4 cup white sugar
  •   1 egg
  •   1 tsp vanilla
  •   1 1/4 cup all purpose flour
  •   1/2 tsp baking soda
  •   1/4 tsp salt
  •   3/4 cup chocolate chips

Brownie Layer

Instructions:

  1. Whisk melted butter + sugar. Add eggs + vanilla.

  2. Fold in cocoa, flour, salt.

  3. Mix in chocolate chips.

  4. Pour into a lined, greased pan.

Cookie Layer (TOP)

Instructions:

  1. Cream butter + both sugars. Add egg + vanilla.

  2. Add flour, baking soda, salt.

  3. Fold in chocolate chips.

  4. Drop spoonfuls on top of brownie batter. Don’t spread, let it melt naturally.

Bake

Bake at 350°F for 30–35 minutes.
• For gooey: remove at 28–30 min.
• For firmer bars: 35–37 min.

Let cool 15 minutes before slicing (if you can wait lol).
