This quick and flavorful steak technique is perfect for busy weeknights or last-minute dinner cravings. With just a few ingredients and the right sear, you’ll have a juicy, restaurant-style steak on your plate in 5 minutes flat.

- Generously season your steak with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder on all sides.
- Preheat a cast-iron pan or grill over medium-high heat until hot.
- Sear the steak for 90 seconds on the first side without moving it.
- Flip the steak every 60 seconds to build an even crust.
- Cook for a total of:
- 2 flips for medium-rare
- More flips for your preferred doneness
- Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
- Slice and serve immediately.
