This Thai Basil Shrimp Fried Rice is bold, spicy, and fragrant, loaded with fresh basil, garlic, and chili heat for a quick, flavorful dinner.

- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, fish sauce, pepper, and sugar. Set aside.
- Cut the stems off the Thai chilis and mash them together with the garlic to make a paste. Set aside.
- Slice the onion and pluck the Thai basil leaves from their stems.
- Heat oil in a pan or wok over medium-high heat. Add the chili-garlic paste and onions. Sauté for 15 seconds.
- Add the shrimp and cook until pink, then push to one side of the pan.
- Crack in the eggs and scramble until fully cooked.
- Add the day-old rice and pour in the prepared sauce. Stir-fry until the sauce is fully absorbed and rice is hot.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Stir in the Thai basil and cook until just wilted.
- Plate and serve hot. Enjoy!
