Ingredients: 3 lb chuck roast; 1 large yellow onion (sliced); 5 cloves garlic (minced); 2 tbsp avocado oil (or high-heat oil of choice); 2 tbso unsalted butter; 1 packet ranch seasoning mix; 1 packet au jus gravy mix; 1 8 oz can tomato sauce; 2 1/2 cups beef broth (from a 32 oz carton); 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce; 3-4 sprigs fresh thyme; 2 sprigs rosemary; 2 bay leaves; 1 tsp salt (to taste); 1 tsp pepper (to taste); 1 pinch fresh parsley (for garnish)
