Sweet & Savory Teriyaki Chicken Skillet

Prep chicken: Cut 2 chicken breasts into 1-inch cubes. Pat dry with paper towels. Season with salt and pepper.

Cook chicken: Heat 1 tbsp oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook 5-6 minutes until browned on all sides and cooked through. Remove from skillet.

Make sauce: In same skillet, add ½ cup water, ¼ cup soy sauce, 2 tbsp brown sugar, 1 tbsp honey, and 2 minced garlic cloves. Bring to simmer, stirring until sugar dissolves.

Finish dish: Return chicken to skillet. Mix 1 tbsp cornstarch with 2 tbsp cold water, then stir into sauce. Cook 2-3 minutes until sauce thickens. Serve over rice, topped with sesame seeds if available.
